La la (Résistance) (2025)
La la Résistance is an experimental short film that reimagines the Renaissance era. Drawing inspiration from The Last Supper, the film explores the nuance of gender within a historical framework that has traditionally erased trans presence. The title, La la Résistance, French for “The Resistance”—speaks to the act of defiance: reclaiming and reframing a past that excluded these narratives, and envisioning a world where trans identity has always been central to the cultural and artistic canon.
