Faces of Harlem

FACES OF HARLEM (FOH) is a public art initiative celebrating Harlem through the lens of 10 contemporary photographers. Inspired by the Harlem Renaissance and the neighborhood’s ever-changing diaspora, this outdoor exhibition invites residents and visitors alike to learn about Harlem while uplifting the experiences of local Black, Indigenous and Latinx communities.

Black Women Photographers x Late


Night ICP

The global community Black Women Photographers (BWP) curates an exciting night celebrating the past, present, and future of Black women in the visual arts industry during Late Night ICP. The evening will showcase an exceptional spoken word performance by Njambi Morgan, a panel discussion with three inspiring members of Black Women Photographers—Kreshonna Keane, Noémie Marguerite, and Lindsay Perryman—moderated by Flo Ngala and a curated music set from DJ AQ in the ICP galleries. Join ICP and Black Women Photographers for an evening filled with joy, art, conversation, and music.

Lindsay Perryman’s project, also released as a self-published zine, is a bold arrangement of portraits of African American masculine women in the LGBTQ community. The Colors We Don’t See at The End of The Rainbow highlights the importance of African American masculine women (studs), featuring them in the purest form imaginable.
